AYTUNA CORA
She was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1987. She graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramic in 2011. In the same year, she was appointed to the Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts of Cukurova University as a research assistant. She was participated in various national- international exhibitions and symposiums. Since 2013, she has been a research assistant in the Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts of Hacettepe University.. At the same time as a graduate student, she currently carries out her studies at the mentioned department.

JOHN NEELY
John Neely is Professor of Ceramics at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, USA, where he has taught since 1984. With a BFA from Alfred University and an MFA from Ohio University, he also worked for many years in Japan, including two years at Kyoto University of the Arts. Since 1975, he has exhibited and lectured in the US, Europe and around the Pacific Rim. Most of his work is intended for the tabletop or kitchen.

LAURA HAAPASALO
Laura Haapasalo lives in Rovaniemi, Finland. She will be graduated from University of Lapland at the end of 2019 as a master of art student. Her main media is ceramics. In her pieces she studies the versality of human nature, expressing emotion and motion through human and animal forms. She marvels the orientation of sight and what and how people are willing to confront and react on what they see. She is seeking symbolism through animalistic charasteristics through her ceramic works and is intrigued by confronting humane emotions. To be able to touch and be touched by art, both physically and mentally is the language of art. The most fascinating thing for her is “the absurd songs of silent statues in space, making viewer dance oddly around the pieces as they study them with their sight".

SERAP EMMUNGİL
She was born in 1975 in Antakya, Turkey. She has graduated from Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Education Faculty Art Teaching Department in1997. At the same year she started to the master’s program at Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department. In 1999 she started to study as a research assistant at the same department. In 2001 she completed master’s thesis named “Figurative Painting Studies composed with Anachronist Approach”. In 2001 she has taken doctoral degree with the doctoral thesis named “Experimental Landscape Forms”. At the same year she started to study as a lecturer at the same faculty. In 2013 she has appointed as an assistant professor. In 2015 she has assumed the title of associated professor. She lives and creates in Ankara. She currently works as an associated professor in the Fine Arts Faculty of Hacettepe University.

SERAP ERDOĞAN
She was born in 1972 in Malatya. She graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass in 1996. She completed her Ph.D. thesis on "Porcelain as a Contemporary Ceramic Material". She has a solo exhibition in Burgas, Bulgaria. Every year she participates in national and international group exhibitions. She has 6 awards: 64th State Ceramics Competition Award, MU Fine Arts Institute Excellence Award, 2nd Cairo Ceramic Biennial, Tolga Eti Ceramic Competition 2nd Prize, Bozhöyük Ceramic Competition Special Award, Izmir Rotary Club Golden Jug Ceramic Competition Special Award. And Erdoğan is still working as an Instructor at Marmara University in İstanbul.

SZILVIA HABER
She lives in Budapest and she is a teacher in Secondary School of Applied and Fine Arts. Haber works this school as a head of department. She works ceramic and porcelain material in her design. And she is also terrazzo designer. She participated many exhibitions. Some of them are 2007 „Le pichet”, Carouge, Switzerland, 2009 WAMP „Soft is the new cool”, Extremely Hungary Festival, New York, Hungarian Institute, 2010 „New Purchases”, Museum of Applied Arts, Budapest, Hungary, 2015 1st Hungarian Figurine Quadrennial, Modern Art Gallery, Pécs, Hungary, 2018 Generations - Masters and those students, ICS, Kecskemét, Hungary. Szilvia Haber has 6 awards. Her awards: 1998 Industrial Design Award, Hungarian Design Council, 2008 2nd International Triennial of Silicate Arts, International Ceramics Studio Emerging Artist Award, 2014 “Artist of Month” award of mayor’s office of 22nd district of Budapest, 2014 “Code universe” Design Competition’s prize, 2016 Ferenczy Noémi Award, Ministry of Human Capacities, 2017 5th International Triennial of Silicate Arts, Hungarian ceramic industry representatives 3rd Prize Award.

SOON JEONG KWON
She graduated from Seoul National University Tecnology in 2006. She had 3 solo exhibitions and She is member of Korea Fine Arts Association, Macsabal Symposium. Her Works are basically Buncheon ware. She has worked the woodfiring of Ceramic Works. She loved to her work with happiness.

SUNG HO LEE
He graduated I-cheon je-il high school, Department of Ceramics and then he graduated Wonkwang University, Department of Ceramics. He has been studing and working ceramics for 20 years. He loves to make something out of nothing. Studying ceramics is the best way to express his world. He is inspired from everything especially from the mother nature. He try to express whispers of the wind, loneliness of the stone, human nature-love and desire. These days, he runs a pottery factory . His art is simple but complicated like our life. It is his life. And Life and art as two sides of the same coin.

SUNYUL PARK
Working with clay and fire is a pleasant addiction. The repetition of physical and mental labor demands a period of patience. But as she passes through this time with confidence and the joy of discovery, the labor becomes an energy that enables her to continue to enjoy the work. Thus, she is ready to be exhausted in the studio full of dirt again today. She wants to express the smallness of her daily life and her simple philosophy in various ways, demonstrating this through work that is interesting and free.

KIM YONG MOON
He graduated from Hong ik University in 1982; received master degree of fine arts in 1985 at the same uiversity; major in ceramics. He is creator of macsabal symposiums. Between 1998 and 2015 organized International Macsabal Wood Firing Symposiums 37 times in Korea, China and Turkey. From 1982-2015 he had 40 solo exhibitions and constructed 10 wood Kilns in Korea, China and Turkey. In 2009, he was jury member of 4th BIMC Tile Biennale, Argentina. Currently he is working at Hacettepe University as a guest professor.

YURIY MUSATOV
He lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. Musatov received membership in International Academy of Arts in Geneva and National Union of Artists of Ukraine in 2017. He graduated ceramics department in Lviv National Academy of Arts, and received a Master’s degree in 2008. In the years 2012-2019 He had 11 solo projects and exhibitions, including «Urban caves» / Triptych Gallery: Global Arts Workshop (T-GAW), Kyiv, Ukraine; 2018 «In progress» / Shcherbenko Art Center. Kyiv, Ukraine; «Trajectory» Alena Kuznetsova (painting) & Yuriy Musatov (ceramic sculpture) / Mironova Foundation, Kyiv, Ukraine. He has also participated in more than 50 group exhibitions worldwide, including: 019 Volta Art Fair / Mironova Gallery, Basel, Switzerland; 2018 Yingge IAC Members’ Exhibition - New Orientalia. New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum / New Taipei City, Taiwan; 2018 «Keramik der Welt» / Gallery Marianne Heller / Heidelberg, Germany; 18 Biennal de Ceramica D’esplugues (Spain), International Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition (Beijing, China); XII Biennial Artistic Ceramics (Portugal); Art for Peace in Korean Cultural Center (Ankara, Turkey); Cluj Ceramics Biennale (Cluj. Romania). During the last seven years, a number of his ceramic artworks have been taquired by world- renowned museums and collections including: FuLe International Ceramic Art Museum (FLICAM), National Museum of Slovenia, National Cultural Collection of Anadolu University, Aveiro Municipal Museum, National Open-air Museum of Ukrainian Pottery. Panevezys Civic Art Gallery / Panevezys. Lithuania, International Ceramics Studio / Kecskemet, Hungary.

İLHAN MARASALI
He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Ceramics in 1993. He set up his studio in 1996. He started to work to be resarch assistant at the same University in 2000. He had master’s degree from Instute of Social Sciences at the same University with his work named “Artistic Interpretation of Textures of Trees on Ceramic Surefaces” in 2002. Also he accomplished his Ph. D. Dissertation at the same Institute is named “Reflection of Desert Topography on Ceramic Applications” He is currently working at the same department and his studio.

IVAN FIZER
From 1999 to 2002 he studied at the higher art school №20 in the faculty of art ceramics.In 2002 he entered the Lviv National Academy of Arts, department of decorative arts, the department of art pottery. In 2008 he graduated the National Academy of Arts, and received Master Degree in art ceramics. After graduation in 2008, was a member of the scholarship program of the Minister of Culture and Heritage of Poland Gaude Polonia. From 2008 to 2010 he worked as a teacher of fine and decorative art in Bogdan Khmelnitsky National University at Cherkasy.Fizer Ivan is a participant exhibitions and symposiums of art ceramics in Ukraine, Poland, Switzerland, Belarus, Turkey. In 2013 got a II Prize at the international ceramics symposium in Opishne «INTERSYMPOSIUM« 2013 : 13x13 / Ukraine.In 2013 got a II Prize at the 4th national competitive exhibition of art ceramics «CeramPIK in Opishne» / Ukraine. In 2016 Personal exhibition «Mystical fantasies» at the National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art / Ukraine.

ŞULE ALTAY
Şule Altay was born in Aşkale /Erzurum, Turkey, in 1987. In 2009, she graduated from Anadolu University, earning an undergraduate degree in the Department of Industrial Design. In 2014, Altay earned a master's degree in fine arts after studying ceramics at Hacettepe University., where she has been working as a research assistant in the ceramics department since 2013 and is now pursuing her PhD. She has been in Lithuanian/VDA as an Erasmus student and open a solo exhibition in 2017. She has joined many national and international group exhibitions with works that bridge art and design.
