I-cheon je-il Lisesi Seramik Bölümü’nden ve Won-kwang Üniversitesi Seramik
Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. 20 yıldır seramik çalışmaktadır. Hiçbir şeyden bir
şey yapmayı seviyor. Seramik çalışmanın dünyasını ifade etmek için en iyi yol
olduğunu söylüyor. Her şeyden, özellikle tabiat anadan ilham alıyor. Rüzgarın
fısıltılarını, taşın yalnızlığını, insan doğasını –sevgiyi ve arzuyu- ifade etmeye
çalışıyor. Bugünlerde bir çömlek atölyesi var. Sanatı ama hayatımız gibi kar-
maşık. “Bu benim hayatım ve hayatla sanat aynı madalyonun iki yüzüdür.”

Graduated I-cheon je-il high school ceramics Department, Graduated won-
kwang university ceramics Department. He has been working for 20year
to study ceramics. He loves to make something out of nothing. Studying
ceramics is the best way to express his world. He is inspired from everything
especially from the mother nature. He tries to express whispers of the wind,
loneliness of the stone, human nature-love and desire. These days he runs
a pottery factory. His art is simple but complicated like our life. “It is my life,
life and art as two sides of the same coin.”
