Serap Emmungil (1975-TURKEY)

She was born in 1975 in Antakya, Turkey. She has graduated from Hatay Musta-
fa Kemal University Education Faculty Art Teaching Department in1997. At the
same year she started to the master’s program at Hacettepe University Fine Arts
Faculty Painting Department. In 1999 she started to study as a research assistant
at the same department. In 2001 she completed master’s thesis named “Figu-
rative Painting Studies composed with Anachronist Approach”. In 2001 she has
taken doctoral degree with the doctoral thesis named “Experimental Landscape
Forms”. At the same year she started to study as a lecturer at the same faculty.
In 2013 she has appointed as an assistant professor. In 2015 she has assumed
the title of associated professor. She lives and creates in Ankara. She currently
works as an associated professor in the Fine Arts Faculty of Hacettepe University.
